Look Out!

This series is all about textures, patterns, and geometry in everyday life and their interaction with objects we see and see through every day: windows! This was partially inspired by the technique of Jerry Uelsmann, who merged photos together in the darkroom from different negatives to create a surreal end result. While these windows don’t make for the most surreal image, they’re still a testament to the fun of experimenting with collaging and superimposing negatives in the darkroom.
